1. How do I charge the solar-powered rechargeable torch?
You can power this torch in two ways. For daily use, charging via the included USB-C cable is the fastest method; this takes approximately four to five hours using a standard 5V1A adapter. Additionally, the lamp is equipped with a built-in solar panel. By placing the lamp with the panel in direct sunlight, the battery charges automatically. This is ideal for situations where no power socket is nearby, such as during camping trips or power cuts. Please note that the solar charging time depends on the light intensity.
2. How long does the battery of the torch last?
The torch features a powerful 1800mAh Ni-MH battery that lasts between eight and 10 hours, depending on the chosen lighting mode. Even on the highest setting, the lamp provides sufficient light for an entire evening or night. Thanks to the blue indicator lights, you can easily monitor the charging progress: the lights flash during charging and stay lit when the battery is fully charged.
3. What are the different light modes of the lamp?
This versatile 3-in-1 lamp has six different modes to provide the right lighting for any situation. The front light functions as a classic torch with a range of up to 100 metres. In addition, there are side lights with various settings: a central side light with high, low, and strobe (flashing) options, and a panel with 33 LEDs for wide-beam light in high or low settings. You can easily switch between these modes using the power button.
4. Can I also use the torch to charge my phone?
Yes, the torch features a handy power bank function. Via the USB output port, you can give mobile devices such as a smartphone or tablet an emergency boost. This makes the lamp not only a light source but also an essential tool for your emergency kit or during long outdoor activities where you need to stay connected.
5. Is the torch resistant to rain and outdoor conditions?
The torch is designed with robustness and outdoor use in mind. The housing is made of sturdy ABS material and has an IP44 rating (IPX4), meaning the lamp is splash-proof. This allows you to use the lamp without worry during a rain shower or in damp conditions in the garden or at the campsite.
