Frequently asked questions about the LED lamp with motion sensor
How do I install the LED lamp without drilling?
Installing this LED lamp is very easy and requires no tools. You make use of the included magnetic stickers with a powerful adhesive layer. First, clean and dry the desired surface thoroughly, stick the magnetic strip in place, and wait a few minutes. The lamp then magnetically clicks onto the strip. This makes the system ideal for rental properties or places like kitchen cupboards and wardrobes where you would prefer not to drill.
How does the motion sensor of the lamp work?
The lamp is equipped with a sensitive sensor that detects motion within a radius of approximately 3 metres. As soon as someone comes near, the light switches on automatically. When no motion is detected for 20 seconds, the lamp switches itself off again. This is not only convenient when your hands are full, but also helps to save energy and extend the battery life.
Can I also keep the lamp on constantly?
Yes, the lamp features different light modes that you can easily control via the power button. By pressing the button once, you activate the constant light mode. This is useful, for example, when you want to use the lamp temporarily as a torch or need extra task lighting in the kitchen. By pressing the button several times, you can toggle between the sensor mode and switching it off completely.
How do I charge the battery of the LED lamp?
Thanks to the magnetic attachment, you can remove the lamp from the wall or cupboard in an instant to charge it. This means you don't have to replace batteries. Depending on the size of the lamp, charging takes about 1.5 to 3 hours. After charging, simply click the lamp back onto the magnetic strip. The autonomy varies between 4 and 5 hours with constant use, depending on the chosen model.
Is this LED lamp suitable for use in the bathroom or hallway?
These compact LED lamps are extremely suitable for various places in the home where extra light is desired, such as the hallway, the basement, the attic, or in deep cupboards. They can also serve as additional accent lighting in the bathroom, provided they are mounted in a dry spot. The lamps emit a warm white light of 3000 K, which provides pleasant and functional lighting without being dazzling.
What are the differences between the available sizes?
You can choose from three lengths: 15 cm, 30 cm, or 50 cm. In addition to the dimensions, the number of light points and the battery capacity also differ per model. The smallest version has 10 LED lights, the medium one has 20, and the largest version is equipped with 36 LED lights for a higher light output. The larger models also have a larger battery, giving them a slightly longer operating time during continuous use.
